    Art Director

    Do you have an eye for design?

    We are looking for a creative Art Director with agency experience to translate marketing and branding strategies into innovative and impressive campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences. Candidates should have hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team environment with brand development, campaign creation, web design and best practices, print/digital production as well as photography/video direction.

    Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and possess excellent typography, color and design skills. B-to-B experience, awareness of digital media and evolving platforms, familiarity with wire-framing tools, video editing and photography experience are all a plus.

    Staff Writer

    We are looking for a talented full-time Staff Writer to translate complex topics (technology, medical, industrial products, legal, finance) into regular pieces of compelling original content used in public relations, social media and sales initiatives.

    Candidates should have the ability to work closely with engineers, software developers, product managers, and other subject-matter experts to understand products and services, identify story angles, and produce compelling copy that meets business goals. Technical writing experience is preferred.

    Must be a prolific writer capable of understanding complex businesses and producing regular content (articles, blog copy, case studies) for a variety of industries.

      The medical device industry is highly regulated with competitive suppliers constantly working alongside clients to produce life-impacting items such as catheters, DNA sequencing kits and more. NPI/Medical of Ansonia, Conn., works with some of the biggest players in medical devices, life sciences and healthcare. In an intense market, NPI wanted to stand out from their competitors.

      We pursued a revised brand presence and overarching visual reimagining to clearly communicate that NPI is not just a typical plastic molder spitting out prototype parts. Rather, NPI is a partner that takes on complex projects, turns them around quickly while never — ever — compromising on quality. This messaging could then go to a larger audience in a cohesive way that strengthens the brand itself.

      Building on a brand tagline we developed soon after starting work — Anything But Prototypical™ — we sought to visually detail the “window into NPI’s process” through fresh photography and eye-catching creative. We redesigned NPI’s entire website, revamped their trade show booth, overhauled collateral and reimagined digital ads.

      Target, target, target. NPI/Medical has a distinct audience: engineers seeking qualified, cost-effective vendors to create injection-molded components of the highest standards. Therefore, NPI needs to reach that audience multiple times over long periods of time. For an effective and consistent frequency of message, we delivered with targeted e-newsletter buys, paid social media content, case studies, collateral and trade show elements.

      In less than a year, our targeted efforts drove two-thirds of NPI/Medical’s entire website visitor traffic. Qualified RFQs are in, business is up and the client continues receiving great feedback on its brand presence in the market.
