SWBR welcomes Steve Smith as vp, finance

We’re pretty excited Steve Smith has joined SWBR as Vice President, Finance.

Why? Because we’ve got numbers to crunch and Steve on our team to make sure we do.

With more than 20 years of strong financial expertise and a resume jam-packed with reputable companies in the printing industry, bringing Steve on board was a no-brainer. Plus, he’s a pretty cool guy who likes to keep his office tidy – and who doesn’t love that?

Prior to SWBR, Steve was CFO, Vice President in Finance and Administration for 12 years at Vanguard Printing LLC. He was responsible for billing, payables, payroll purchasing, credit/collection, IT and human resources departments. He also worked for Melham US, Sheridan Printing Company and RFS Ecusta.

After years of traveling for work, he decided to move back home to his wife in Plainfield Township. While home, Steve started going through his emails, when he stumbled upon a message about an open position at SWBR. Soon thereafter, Steve joined the crew on Adler Place.

We’re confident Steve’s vast knowledge will shine here. His responsibilities will focus on the company’s financial statements, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance and various special analyses. You know, all of that accounting jazz.

Besides crunching numbers, Steve really enjoys reading Stephen King novels (Bill Hodges Trilogy) and adding new books to his home library. He’s also an avid golfer who loves the sport so much he is currently building his own mini golf course in his backyard … with a windmill. We know where we’re hanging out in the summer.

Welcome aboard, Steve. We’re happy you made your way back to the 610 and are working with us.

Advertising is in Ernie’s DNA as he’s a third-generation family member to join the business his late grandfather founded. Ernie (or ET) uses his outgoing personality to connect with clients to build strong collaborative relationships. He digs deep to uncover new opportunities that will make a measurable difference for each client’s business. A graduate of Eastern University and Saint Joseph’s University (MBA), he has the book smarts and experience to elevate brand communications with strategies that challenge the status quo. He’s always guiding Team SWBR toward the correct target audiences, smartest campaign messages, right digital channels and best traditional tactics suited to boost sales.

When he’s not working, Ernie enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He’s also an avid golfer still searching for his first hole-in-one.
