Art Director

Do you have an eye for design?

We are looking for a creative Art Director with agency experience to translate marketing and branding strategies into innovative and impressive campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences. Candidates should have hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team environment with brand development, campaign creation, web design and best practices, print/digital production as well as photography/video direction.

Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and possess excellent typography, color and design skills. B-to-B experience, awareness of digital media and evolving platforms, familiarity with wire-framing tools, video editing and photography experience are all a plus.

The Challenge

Headquartered in Scranton, Pa., Peoples Security Bank & Trust (PSBT) was looking to build upon its more than 100 years of success by expanding into the competitive Greater Lehigh Valley market.

The Solution

A nine-month campaign targeted Lehigh Valley residents and small businesses wanting more from their bank. We paired an aggressive media plan spanning outdoor, print and digital with creative that passionately expressed the personal attention and concierge level of service one can expect as a PSBT customer. Proactive public relations efforts focused on expert positioning through by-lined articles along with the promotion of bank events. A dedicated landing page served as the heart of the campaign driving leads and allowing for digital media evaluation.

A simple visual approach lent attention to a brand, which was new to the Lehigh Valley, and spoke volumes to the targeted audience.

With deep-rooted competition already in the marketplace, a well-planned media schedule was critical in gaining attention. Leveraging decades of experience with banks in the area, we implemented a media plan that would garner the attention of residents and small businesses across the Lehigh Valley.

Utilizing traditional media channels, we maximized impressions among the masses. Targeted digital mediums were leveraged and refined based on performance to effectively reach a defined audience of small business owners.

Shortly after entering the market and with only three branches in the area, Lehigh Valley Business’s 2018 Reader Rankings named Peoples Security Bank & Trust the second best bank in the Lehigh Valley. Additionally, PSBT outperformed their annual growth projection for the Lehigh Valley market.

This successful campaign also won SWBR an AAF GLV Addy Award for copywriting.
